    Includes Turbo Install Kit

This is an ALH version of the European PD 150 turbo w/ install kit included. Long proven to be more reliable than the stock VNT-15 turbo, it can reliably produce >150 whp with the necessary supporting mods and tuning. Depending on the plumbing desired this turbo may need to be reclocked. That procedure can be found HERE

Combine our Genuine Bosio nozzles, our Injector Calibration or Hot Swap program, chip tuning or Q Loader, and on a 5 speed transmission add the stronger Southbend clutch to create a great package. We even have a 150 HP Package that's a great combination.... or you can build the car in steps.

This turbo can ship with our exclusive, plug and play, billet aluminum, compressor outlet adapter; making this virtually a PnP upgrade for the ALH. We offer the adapter in three diameters; 1.25" (OD), 1.75" (OD) or 2" (OD). We normally ship the 1 1/4" adapter, since this is the correct size for the stock hose. If you have our Upgraded FMIC plumbing you will need to go with the 2" version, please indicate above. The new 1.75" adapter is for our upgraded SMIC plumbing kit and can be ordered HERE

We Highly Recommend getting our Stainless Steel Oil Braided Supply Line as well. The stock ones are rigid and can break during removal or installation and the flexibility of the braided line makes for an easy installation.

This turbo is brand new from Garrett, not rebuilt and includes our extensive Turbo Installation Kit. (a $48 value). There is no core deposit.

A note to early ALH owners: This turbo requires the same support bracket and oil return line as the latest version of the VNT-15. If your car was produced before mid-2001, the turbo support bracket, oil return line, and oil return line block fitting will have to be replaced with the updated version of these parts. We do sell a retrofit kit that will help in this endeavor. If your ALH was produced after mid-2001, this is a direct install.

    Product fits:

    Volkswagen:

    • 1999 - 2003 Mk4 Golf TDI with ALH Engine Code
    • 1999 - 2003 Mk4 Jetta TDI with ALH Engine Code
    • 1998 - 2003 Mk4 New Beetle TDI with ALH Engine Code

    1. Quality Product

I went with Kerma because they offered high quality products at a reasonable price. The last thing I wanted to do was to replace a failed Chinese knock off that I bought to save a few bucks. The turbo is quality and craftsmanship. It also came with all gaskets and mounting hardware. It is upgradeable as well if I choose to go that route. on 4th Jul 2017

    2. VNT-17 upgrade

I bought this because my VNT-15 worn itself out. It completey Changes the driving of my golf, for the better. Right now it is just paired with the stock setup and give a much better response and pick up. With much better highway crusing. The product also shipped very quickly and the customer service from the company was excellent. on 19th Dec 2016

    3. Nice upgrade

I the the garret vnt 17 is a great choice over a stock replacement turbo. It spools up a little later than a stock turbo and pushes longer and harder. I've even seen a mpg increase that I didn't expect. on 17th Oct 2016

    5. VNT 17 worth the upgrade.

My stock ALH VNT15's vanes seized after the 180k. Under load boost would peak to 22.3 causing limp mode left and right. Replaced with the VNT17 to prepare for further upgrades. Have only a few hundred miles on it. The only difference I notice on a stock tune is a little more turbo lag. on 27th Feb 2016
