This clutch kit is rated to 300ftlbs. It was designed for the 1.8T engine, but is a direct bolt up to the 1.9l TDI found in the A4 and A5 chassis. It will hold everything a mild turbo upgrade; such as a VNT-17, can produce.

The drawback of this kit is that there will be a slight chatter at idle. It isn't awful, but some find it annoying. If you're the kind of driver that keeps the radio up, and you have an ailing clutch in your A4 or A5 TDI, this is the clutch for you. If the thought of having a little chatter is unsettling to you, or you're running a bigger turbo than a VNT-17, please consider one of our South Bend clutch kits, which ship with a 20lb flywheel to retain stock noise levels.
