This device, nicknamed the Doggie Collar by its inventor, replaces the factory clip that connects the intake hose to the intake manifold on Pumpe Duse Engines. It is not uncommon for the clips, or hose barbs to wear causing lose in power and a poor connection.
Kit consists of a plate, spacers, long bolts and can be installed in about 10 minutes.Also fits some A5 cars where intake tube from the intercooler meets up with the intake manifold.

Kit of 4 specialty tools for changing the timing belt on TDI Engine codes BEW and BHW. Chassis include all 2004 and most 2005 Golf, Jetta, and New Beetle and 2005 Passat. Not for 2003 and earlier models equipped with rotary pump type engines. Note: This kit once contained the MN3333 for adjusting 2-hole tensioners found on some early BEW engines. Customer feedback has indicated that the replacement tensioners accept a 6 mm hex key for rotating the tensioner hub. Check your replacement tensioner for a hexagon hole. If it does not have a hexagon hole and only has two pin holes for turning the hub, you may want to order the MN3333 sold separately.
