This is the factory turbo used on the 140hp European-spec version of your engine, sized correctly for a real power upgrade on the 2005.5 to 2006 BRM Jetta. With proper tuning, it supports up to 24 psi, well beyond what the stock turbo can safely deliver.
The kit includes our turbo install gasket kit and an oil drain plug that fits directly into the turbo's EGT port provision. If you'd rather use that port for an EGT gauge instead, we offer a separate drain plug option (use a metal washer with it).
Two things to know before you order:
This turbo ships with a "dumb" actuator. On its own, it will trigger a check engine light for a sensor that's present on the stock turbo but isn't needed here. Our tuning resolves this.
The stock oil supply line does not fit this turbo. You'll need our PD140 oil feed line, available as an add-on above.
